The Austin Mini Cooper S was designed and made by the Cooper car company in England in the year 1963. The car model was produced to create a economical, nimble and inexpensive car for the commoners. At that time, the selling price of the car was £23,000.
The car model had a 1071 cc engine, a bore of 70.61 mm and a boosting power of 34-55 bhp. The features of the Austin mini included twin carburettors, racing-tuned engine, “close ratio” gearbox, 'nitrided steel” crankshaft, powerful bottom end for further tuning, and “front disk” and servo- assisted larger disc brakes. At that time, all these features together were very uncommon in a small car. Later, in 1964, the engine of the car was replaced by a 998 cc engine. Despite of having around 75 bhp on tap, the car performed very well in the Rally racing group 2.
The car boasts up straight cut “gearbox pinions”, flexible competition to absorb the shock of rear and front, Sparco seats, chronometer and Tripmaster, multi-point harnesses, roll cage in the car interior, a switch to cut out the ignition and a automated fire extinguisher. Austin Mini Cooper S also comes with four dirt wheels, four road wheels, and a spare wheel
